Liza Bertoli

Liza Bertoli

Liza Bertoli is a Program Assistant at CORNERS. They hold a BA in Women's and Gender Studies from DePaul University. As a student, Liza interned with Northside Action for Justice in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood where they were involved with tenant organizing, mutual aid, wellness, and education programs. Liza also brings experience from Loyola University Chicago and DePaul University where they worked in Student Development and Student Affairs respectively. In their free time Liza enjoys knitting, sewing, live music, and visiting museums.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
