Jeremy Nahuel Bell

Jeremy is a Research Data Analyst at CORNERS, where he develops and implements process and impact evaluations of street outreach services in the Chicago area. He is interested in harnessing the latest developments in statistics, sociology, and network science to advance the field of community violence intervention and create lasting and equitable change. Before joining CORNERS, he conducted policy research for federal and non-profit clients, specializing in culturally responsive education and quasi-experimental methods. He received a bachelor's degree in economics and sociology from Northwestern University, where he studied network analysis to better understand the drivers of housing segregation and economic inequality.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
