Kris Rosental

Kris Rosentel is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology and a Mellon Cluster Fellow in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Their research interests include LGBTQ social and health disparities, spatial inequality, and the urban policing of nuisance issues. They use multiple methods in their research including geospatial analysis. In their free time, Kris enjoys cooking vegetarian food, walking along Lake Michigan, and doing puzzle hunts.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
