Litany Esguerra

Research Project Manager

Litany Esguerra

Litany Esguerra is a Research Project Manager at CORNERS: the Center for Neighborhood Engaged Research & Science. They received a BS in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago and an MA in Disability Studies from the University of Leeds. Previously, Litany supported students with intellectual disabilities to access post-secondary education and integrated employment opportunities. Her ongoing research interests include participatory research methods, sustainable community development, and identity and disability. Litany enjoys playing piano around Chicago, reading science-fiction, and portrait painting.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
